Independent Advocacy & Casework

Fiat Justitia

Let Justice Be Done

Independent advocacy for individuals facing injustice in education, disability benefits, housing, and dealings with public authorities. We pursue your case with determination — grounded in evidence, guided by principle.

Fiat Justitia is an independent, fee-charging advocacy business. We are not a regulated law firm and do not provide reserved legal services.

A fountain pen nib meeting paper — the point at which advocacy begins.

Our Approach

Your case. Your voice.Our expertise.

At Fiat Justitia, we believe that clients should remain at the centre of their own cases.

We provide professional research, evidence analysis, case preparation, strategic guidance and correspondence drafting, enabling clients to challenge decisions, raise complaints and assert their rights confidently and effectively.

Correspondence is ordinarily prepared for clients to review, approve and issue in their own names. Rather than unnecessarily placing ourselves between clients and the organisations they are dealing with, we empower them to communicate directly, supported by carefully researched, evidence-based arguments.

Where direct representation or intervention is appropriate, we can discuss the available arrangements.

Our objective is not to take ownership of your dispute. It is to equip you with the strongest possible case.

Client Outcomes

In our clients' own words.

Real accounts from people we have represented, published with their permission and anonymised on their request.

Two EHCP requests had been refused before we approached Fiat Justitia. They read every report, rebuilt the evidence into a single coherent argument, and prepared us properly for the hearing. The plan was agreed at the tribunal.

Parent of a Year 10 pupil, Greater Manchester

Education AdvocacyEHCP secured
I had given up after the mandatory reconsideration. They explained exactly where the decision had gone wrong and what evidence was missing, then helped me put it in front of the tribunal. I was awarded the enhanced rate for both components.

PIP claimant, West Yorkshire

Disability BenefitsAward reinstated
Our landlord ignored the damp for nearly a year and the council would not act. Fiat Justitia took over the correspondence, set out the law clearly, and kept the pressure on until the works were scheduled. The tone throughout was firm but entirely calm.

Private tenant, Birmingham

Housing & HomelessnessRepairs enforced
The council refused our son's travel assistance and the reasons we were given made little sense. They identified the gap in the assessment, drafted the challenge, and dealt with the authority directly. The decision was revised within a month.

Parent, South London

Public AuthoritiesDecision revised
I wanted to complain about the way my mother's care had been handled but did not know how to put it without sounding like a personal attack. They turned our account into a measured, documented complaint that the trust could not brush aside.

Former patient, Bristol

Complaints & ResolutionComplaint upheld
What stood out was the honesty. I was told plainly which parts of my case were weak, which were strong, and what was likely to happen at each stage. No promises were made that could not be kept.
